I thought I'd share this link with you guys listing AP's Top 12 songs of this month and I don't think it could more accurate. It includes Gerard Way's "Don't Try" :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. One of my favorites as you can tell ;). It also includes a single from Danny Worsnop's new band, We Are Harlot called “Dancing On Nails”.

Fall Out Boy's American Beauty/American Psycho hits No.1

Just in one week Fall Out Boy's American Beauty/ American Psycho reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 .........I don't mean to offended anyone but, ew. Even though This marks a 40 percent increase over their first week sales of their previous studio album Save Rock and Roll I don't think I will ever find myself to liking this album...ever. I know I'm with a lot of people when I say that their new sound definitely can not stay. The band has attracted new fans as well as lost or confused lots of die hard fans ( much like myself ) that have been with them since the beginning. Yeah, yeah, I know that bands like to change the sound of their music to see what they themselves are capable of and to see how the fans react (let's use Drown by BMTH for example). Even though I'm one of the people ranting own about how they've changed, I'm just surprised that all of their song titles are actually five words or less :D Yay song titles I can actually memorize!!!! I also found out that the band wrote songs  for One Direction but, apparently they were to odd for them to use.... The band's also going on tour with Wiz Khalifa. This band is one of the top ten bands I look up to and a band that has taught  me to love who I am and to embrace the creativeness and craziness inside me that's al bundled up. Here's some awesome, inspritional, funny quotes from the band:
"My whole thing is I'm not into civilization as a whole. The only actual solution is the eventual collapse and demise of civilization...I think it needs to happen, but no one, not even me, want's it to happen."-Andy Hurley
''I was really depressed. I wanted to kill myself. That first Christmas was the worst. I mean, I own a lot of guns, so it wouldn't be hard."-Andy Hurley
"When you have a bad day, a really bad day, try and treat the world better than it treated you."-Patrick Stump
"Shout out to my one true love: pizza" -Pete Wentz
"I am posting my feelings on the internet." Joe Trohman (Joe I'd liked to see how that works out for you...)
And last but no least, my favorite FOB line " You are what you love not who loves you."

Band of The Week

I decided to pick Blink-182 as band of the week!! If you've been on Alternative Press in the past few days you've probably seen everything that's been happening with the whole Tom Delonge thing. If not let me fill you in.Vocalist/bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker will be moving forward without the participation of vocalist/guitarist Tom DeLonge.  “We were all set to play this festival and record a new album and Tom kept putting it off without reason. A week before we were scheduled to go in to the studio we got an email from his manager explaining that he didn’t want to participate in any Blink-182 projects indefinitely, but would rather work on his other non-musical endeavors.” Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus plan to honor all Blink-182 commitments including the Musink Festival and are excited to have singer/guitarist Matt Skiba join them for this project." CBS Radio reports. As far as I'm concerned I am truly disappointed that Tom will not be apart of the band anymore and I really wish that he didn't decide to leave. But you gotta think about it this way, every band loses a member here and there, every band turns on each other every now and then, and every band does it's best to make sure that it stays together. They make sure they stay together for fans, the friendships they have with each other, the amazing people they met as a band and most importantly, they stay together because making music is what they love doing. Danny Worsnop has left Asking Alexandria

Danny Worsnop has official  left Asking Alexandria :(.
He posted this statement on his Twitter:
"To all of my friends and fans: I would like to let you know that Asking Alexandria and I are moving forward in separate ways. Over the last eight years together we've done some amazing things and created something truly special. I now, same as then, want what's best for the band and at this point in time, that isn't me. Asking Alexandria will continue to tour throughout the year and will be working on a new album. I will always support and love Asking Alexandria and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. I am excited for the next chapter of my life with We Are Harlot and will see you all on the road!"
Kinda sad *sigh*.
His new band We Are Harlot will debut their first album March 8. Check them out here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltPmj7TuHX0

Linkin Park,Of Mice&Men and Rise Against cancel tour due to injury

The three bands have been forced to cancel their tour due to a leg injury that Chester Bennington (singer of Linkin Park) has gotten recently. Chester says,
“I'm really disappointed this injury has made it impossible to continue with this tour. The first couple shows were just magical. We will truly miss not being with our fans for the next few weeks. Hope to see you again soon."
Sucks I really wanted to go.........

Band of the Week- All Gone Dead

All Gone Dead is a three person Deathrock/Gothic/Synthpunk band from London. The band was active 2004-2008.The band consists of Stich ,Barb, and Steve Pollytrama. The band's track Newspeak is a good one in my opinion and a fan favorite:www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t_g9od83tY

Band Of The Week

So lately I've found it challenging to find out interesting news that you hardcore maniacs would like, or in other words I'm suffering though a bad forbidden case of.......writers block :(. So to keep you in the swings of all things rock I've decided that every Wednesday I will post a "band of the week". I will pick a different band every week including the latest news about them, a little bit of their history, and a recommended track from the artist. I will do this along with other post through out the week. So, no news for  now except that Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman to miss London show due to mother’s passing :o

Kay kay catch u guys later.
